In our view, living in the center of Kerkrade is an important development. Against the tide of reports about a decline in the number of residents, we believe it is very important that the quality of life in city centers is positively influenced by high-quality housing projects. Good and contemporary housing in the city centers influences the liveliness and attractiveness of the center.
Lancée architecten has worked on this project with great enthusiasm. The task was very complex. Good housing in combination with offices in a location that is wedged between impossible preconditions. Accessibility of the surrounding companies, a high parking standard for the buyers on site and a design for an important visible location were the ingredients with which the project architect Rob Eijdems had to work.
